The Coureur first appears in the 1959 catalogue shortly after Holdsworth took over as a ‘High Class, value‘ 5 speed cycle, it ran in various forms until 1968.
There was the original Coureur in 1959 and then the Campagnolo Gran Sport option in 1960, named Super Coureur in 1961. In 1962 a Frameset is added.
From 1964 the five speed gets a gear change upgrade and becomes the Mk.I and the Mk.II is launched with center pull brakes, both along side the Super Coureur.
At the same time the ‘Continental’ lugs change from Nevex type Continental to Prugnat type D55.
