The first frame mentioned in early literature from Holdsworth and named after the Stelvio pass in Italy where bikes were taken for testing in the Alps. It was also in their first 1934 catalogue and continued there until 1939.
1938 Catalogue

Launched in 1934 for the keen tourist and designed for rough ground, the following year it was renamed the Stelvio Tourer and shown with rear luggage rack. Reynolds HM aircraft tubing, Special angles until 1939 then 68 deg’s, 10 1/2″ BB hight, 42 1/2″ wheel base initially.
