THE ORIGINAL TORNADO
The original Tornado was advertised at the end of 1934, for 1935, to promote the Olympia show, but not exhibited. It is listed in catalogues from 1936 up to 1939 and built with Reynolds HM Aircraft tubing. Upto 1938 it is a fixed single speed machine.

THE TORNADO MASSED START 1951-1954
In 1951 the Tornado returns as a massed start racer, built with Reynalds 531 tubing; double butted for top, down & head tubes with single butter seat tube. Angles ar 72 Deg, 18 1/4″ chain stay & 10 1/2″ BB hight. Lugs are Holdsworths own as shown right. The Specification remained unchanged athough A&P Cromo tubes were somtimes offered. It was replaced by the Monsoon, another massed start, in 1955.
