The shop started making frames again for the factory at the end of the 1950’s to cater for individual customer requirements; factory Specials. In the mid 1960’s they made frames of their own design with the Italia range again built to specific customer requirements. The Strada was the Road Bike in that range and the Pista the track option, both were offered with Seciallissimo extensions to the BB and built to customer requirements. There was also the Italia which was the stock version ofthe Strada for off the self sales.
In the 1974 Catalogue the Competizione is added as a range of three frames aimed at ‘Young Enthusiasts’. These were Road, Track & Cyclo Cross stock built frames.
Below is a Red version of the Competizion, 69364, clearly being used for duties other than Holdsworth intended.
